This newborn session with the Scott family at our Marietta Studio was so dreamy. I can’t get over this sweet little babe’s full head of hair. That right there is worth capturing! The light was shining bright that day in our studio and it made for the prettiest pictures. I love how the Scott family included the whole family in the shoot, all coordinating in complimenting neutrals.

What To Wear For Newborn Sessions

When it comes to styling for newborn sessions, I also recommend going simple and timeless. Think, soft midi dresses for mom and simple button downs or a henley tee for dad. If you are including a sibling we recommend that their look play off of mom and dads. The Scott family did a wonderful job of this by sticking to all neutrals. Mom’s dress makes the photos feel elevated but relaxed. You can tell dad feels comfortable and it shows in his photos! While their first born is in a print, it’s not distracting and flows nicely with mom and dad.
